STORY BLURB:
Luke Callahan is bound and determined that he isn’t going to be tricked into a shotgun wedding no matter how tempting Cassie is.
Sweet lips, a sensual body, and tempting a man isn’t enough to give up a man’s freedom, or is it?
EXCERPT:
Liquid fire spread through his body and his manhood pressed against her. To make matters worse, she slipped her legs around his middle and pressed against him. His other arm snaked around her and before he knew it, they were both lost in a mounting passion hotter than the Texas sun. He tore his lips away from hers and kissed a trail of fire down her slender throat, across her chest.
Suntanned, satin skin tempted him further as she leaned back. He captured her nipple in his mouth and suckled gently, flicking his tongue teasingly against the sweet morsel and heard Cassie cry out in passion just as the click of a gun made him tear his mouth away and look towards the bank. Carl Morgan sat there on his horse, a scowl on his face, more threatening than the devil himself. He let Cassie slide out of his arms and she splashed down into the water. He reached down and hauled her up to her feet as Carl spoke up.
Luke, you got some explaining to do. Cassie, get your ass out of the water and put some clothes on and go home!”
“Yes, Papa.”
Luke caught the smile that turned up her lips as she leaned over to him and gave him a quick kiss on the chest. He groaned and gave her a warning look, but she wadded toward shore, giving him the perfect view of her lithe, sexy body, and cute ass. “I can explain, Carl,” he said, moving towards shore when a bullet hit the water in front of him. “There’s no call for that, Carl!”
