I grew up in Northeastern Ohio. Raised on a farm with Palominos, I was riding at the age of four. I love horses, although life has moved on and I no longer ride.
I’ve been published since 1991 with various publishers and have been writing most of my life. My father played a big role in my desire to become a writer. He always encouraged me to write and make up stories, as he called it, and bought me every new typewriter that came out. I miss him so much. I write different genres and I think the only one I haven’t written is shape shifters. I love writing westerns and clean, sweet stories, although some of my earlier books include murder and mayhem. I also love writing feel good books, that just let one escape to a world where there isn’t too much stress and things work out for the best.
I lost my youngest son on Feb. 17th 2016 and my beloved husband on April 17, 2016. My heart is broken. I’ve been away for awhile, but am trying to come back to writing. It just seems like it was yesterday, though. My heart goes out to anyone who loses loved ones and friends, but my heart goes out to those mom’s and father’s who have lost children, no matter how old they are. It is devastating and something I don’t think you ever get over. God bless you all.
