About Me

I grew up in Northeastern Ohio.  Raised on a farm with Palominos, I was riding at the age of four.  I love horses, although life has moved on and I no longer ride.

I’ve been published since 1991 with various publishers and have been writing most of my life.  My father played a big role in my desire to become a writer.  He always encouraged me to write and make up stories, as he called it, and bought me every new typewriter that came out.  I miss him so much.  I write different genres and I think the only one I haven’t written is shape shifters.  I love writing westerns and clean, sweet stories, although some of my earlier books include murder and mayhem.  I also love writing feel good books, that just let one escape to a world where there isn’t too much stress and things work out for the best.

I lost my youngest son on Feb. 17th of this year and my beloved husband on April 17. My heart is broken. I’ve been away for awhile, but am trying to come back to writing. It just seems like it was yesterday, though. My heart goes out to anyone who loses loved ones and friends, but my heart goes out to those mom’s and father’s who have lost children, no matter how old they are. It is devastating and something I don’t think you ever get over. God bless you all.

I am a two time cancer survivor and stress to women out there to get your checkups.  If you feel something is wrong, please get checked.

My interests include, writing, reading, embroidery, crocheting, fishing, Kindle games, and puzzles.

Thank you for stopping by.  Blessing to you and your families.

Love you all.

Cia, Have wondered out you on and off over the years. If I have contacted the correct lady, I’m the daughter of Shelia Jordan Grigsby…. would so enjoy speaking with you again and wish we’d never lost touch! So thrilled to see all your success! Mom would have loved it!

    Cia,
I love reading your books and I now have a Kindle. When I go to my quilting retreats in Tomball at Quilters Cabin I always take my kindle and read some of your stores when I need to take a break.
Would love to meet you and if you are ever in the area when we have our retreats. I noticed you mentioned you live in Tomball,TX I think.

      Hi Janet!

Thanks for dropping by and letting me know you like my stories. I crochet and embroider, but always have admired women who can quilt. That takes a lot of talent to do and I’ve seen some gorgeous ones.

I don’t live in TX. I’m a good ways from there, but would love to visit one day if life ever lets me. 🙂

Thanks for stopping by and wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year.

      Blessings to you and yours,

      Cia

      Hi Betty!

Thanks for stopping by and letting me know you like my books. All writers love to hear that. If you go to Amazon and type in Cia Leah, it will take you to a page of my books, and my author’s page is listed there with all my books. I think I have around seventy four, I think, on there.

What is fiction DB? I don’t get online very much.

Thank you so much for the compliment. It is very much appreciated.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I hope you are blessed this holiday season and throughout the coming year.

      Hi Betty!

You can find all my books on Amazon as I posted in previous post. To be truthful, I can’t remember all of them unless I go on Amazon and look myself.

Again, thank you so much for the compliment. All writers are happy when their readers like their books.

      Blessings to you and yours,

      Cia
